Massage Therapy

Swedish massage therapy is normally what comes to mind when you think about massage. One of the primary goals of Swedish massage techniques is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. However, Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation it also can include deep tissue massage, prenatal, and sports massage. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension

K-Taping is the application of specially modified tape to the body to areas of discomfort, muscle imbalance and injury.  Basic functions and effects of K-Taping are:  improvement of muscle function, elimination of circulatory restrictions, pain reduction and supports joint function.  The use of K-Tape can be highly effective especially when linked with a therapeutic massage.  Mieka Dueckman RMT is the only therapist at this time to have training in the application of K-Taping.

Application by itself $25 (approx. 15 minutes)  |  Application with massage is an additional $10 to massage fee

Most extended health benefit plans will cover full or partial costs of our services. Please check your plan to find out the details regarding your coverage. A doctor´s note may be required for massage therapy.

Missed Appointment

When you book an appointment with us, that time is set aside for you and only you. In return, we ask that you keep your promise to us and show up for your appointment on time. Please understand that massage therapists only get paid when they deliver a service. Therefore, missed appointments are costly for us and prevent us from catering to other clients.

Our policy is as follows:

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment and have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the treatment as booked.

If you show up late to your appointment, you will receive the remainder of the treatment time and will be required to pay for the full cost of the treatment as booked.


In the event you are not able to keep your scheduled appointment please contact us by phone at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you are not able to reach us, please leave a message on our voicemail. If we do not hear from you within this time frame and you fail to make to your appointment the above policy will be applied.

Note: We also recognize that life isn’t perfect and that there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergency, etc.) and so we may make an exception to the above policies in those rare occasions.
